Interpersonal skills are more important than ever. In our tech-driven, multicultural world, we want to help alleviate the problem of incivility, fear, and disrespect in our workplaces. Through Etiquette, Protocol, Intercultural, and Civility training, we help the next generation of professionals develop the communication and soft skills they need to become successful leaders.
Candace N. Johnson is the founder and principal consultant of EPIC Leaders Training & Consulting, LLC. In addition to her consulting work, Candace is a public servant. She has spent time as a staffer for the Democratic National Convention Committee, for a Member of Congress, and for local and presidential campaigns. Prior to those roles, she interned at the U.S. State Department, the White House, and the Smithsonian in event planning, executive support, and protocol capacities. Prior to launching EPIC Leaders, Candace spent time as a training consultant for Tero International. She is a member of Protocol & Diplomacy International - Protocol Officers Association.
A leader in her community, Candace serves as a national ambassador for the Drake Institute of Research and Policy where she engages with issues related to the U.S. election process and how outcomes impact the quality of life of women in the United States. In 2018, Candace was crowned Miss Black D.C. US Ambassador, and she is a past member of the board of directors for PBY, Inc., a mentoring organization. Candace received her bachelor’s degree from Howard University where she was a member of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity. She earned dual master’s degrees from Syracuse University.
Our mission is to expose interns and young professionals from underserved communities to personal and professional development by providing etiquette, protocol, intercultural, and civility training seminars.
